Dear Editor:

First his account was hacked, then it was a prank that he didn't want to make a federal case of. He was going to hire a firm to investigate, just like O.J. Simpson was going to find out who killed his wife Nicole Simpson.

I knew he was lying from the start, my suspicion piqued because he's a sitting Congressman and didn't report the alleged hacking to authorities. If he made a false report, he well knew he would be guilty of a crime. He conveniently blamed Andrew Breitbart, a political enemy.

For me it was deja vu. It was like I was a parole officer again, listening to a parolee tell me how he happened to find a gun in the street, and was on the way to turn it in to the police.

When you have occasion to listen to liars for a living, you develop a sense that you take to the grave.

And now it's time to put the Congressman's career to rest. Goodbye Mr. Weiner.
