The Boys Scouts of America is changing its name and will be known as "Scouts BSA” to make the organization more inclusive and allow girls to join. I guess the times are changing.
I was a Boy Scout myself in the 50s and 60s, and went through the program from Cub to Explorer Scout.
I believe the scouting program serves our youth in many areas. It teaches them valuable skills, promotes good morals and the importance of civic responsibility helping those in our communities who are most in need of help.
I hope the new direction they are going will succeed. Our youth of America truly need scouting.
