Description:

What:               Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is the American Cancer Society's premier event to raise awareness and dollars to fight breast cancer. Making Strides is a noncompetitive 5k walk supporting the American Cancer Society’s unique mission to fight cancer on four fronts: research, education, advocacy, and patient services.

Where:             Flushing Meadows Corona Park, 111th St. Entrance between 54th and 55th Ave., Queens, NY 11368

 

When:              Sunday, October 21, 2012                                                                     

 

Time:               Registration starts at 8:00 a.m.

                        Walk begins at 10:00 a.m.

 

How:                Come walk with 15,000 of your fellow Queens residents!  Individuals who walk and raise pledges are the key to defeating breast cancer. Encourage your friends to get involved; recruit a group to walk with you.
